Hi there.
Another question!
On our current site, we have links to different forums that we have on our classic 6.7.2 board
/forum/1.html /forum/2.html
Some of these are on literally hundreds of pages and so it is very difficult and time consuming to change those links.
When we upgrade to threads 7 will we be able to "forward" users to the correct place?
ie. if there is currently a link to one of our forums, then when a user clicks on that link they get sent directly to the "new" location for that particular forum. (Rather than just being forwarded to the main Forum List)
Does that make sense?!
Thanks

My guess is that all links in search engines from ubbt6.x / Classic will also be invalid.
Needs a redirect scipt for all these pages, so that all those links are not lost.

All links that utilize ultimatebb.cgi or ultimatebb.php will be forwarded if you use the "redirector" scripts provided with your UBB.Threads 7.0 zip. There is also a file for UBBThreads6.

I uploaded ultimatebb.cgi from the classic import folder. All it does from the cgi folder when requested is put out some text: -------- HTTP/1.1 HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently Date: Sat, 19 Aug 2006 18:54:00 GMT Server: Apache Location: http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/ubbthreads.php/ubb/cfrmKeep-Alive: timeout=15, max=100 Connection: Keep-Alive Transfer-Encoding: chunked Content-Type: text/plain 0 ------------ What do I need to do to get it work as the php redirect from the classic folder?
