UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads Version 7/8 Support upgrade redirect

I just upgraded Threads 6 to Threads 7 and installed the redirector files that come with the importer.
The redirects work for the internal links of the forum but not for the links that I have on the rest of the site which point to the old forum (ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?Cat=). These still lead to the old forum and not to the new install.
Do I need to change all these links (there are many) on the site or is there another way to redirect them to the new install? It's a Windows server so I don't have an .htaccess file.

Thanks

You can just change the old ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php file to a redirect. Just replace the contents of that old file with something like this:

Just change the link to the location of your Threads 7 install.

Perfect, thank you.

Just bear in mind that any links to old forums, or categories will only go to your main index - sadly hundreds of links on other sites now fail to go to their intended locations
