Regarding both of these features can a "space" be used?
Example: If I want to censor or create an active text for "Larry Miller" can I do that? Use two words?
Larry Miller|radio
and
Larry Miller=Joe Smith

You know, that's a good question that I never even bothered to think of when giving Rick the idea for active text... I don't see why it wouldn't work though... I mean, it's basically a censor that runs as text is pulled from the db (versus a censor that works as text is inserted into the db)

Well, I just tested the active-text entry: Larry Miller|radio
And it works fine: http://home.corthell.net:81/forums/ubb7/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=30&page=0#Post30

Thanks Giz. I can always count on you. I hope you don't mind me calling ypou Giz instead of your more formal name, Gizmo?

So to censor "one two" and updating it comes out "onetwo"

The active text entry itself should load whatever you put in it; that's odd that it didn't for you, lemme go check again. BTW, you have an accent according to me, you're just used to it

I tested the rule: Larry Miller|The Radio And got a link to the url with the name "The Radio"; two words into the active text, two words and the url out...

Yes that works. It is the CENSOR where there can not be a space. If I put in Larry Miller on the update or save it lists as LarryMiller. Oh, and by the way Mr. Washington, you are the one with an accent

It's Mr. Oregon thank you :x, and is it a cute accent? I don't notice I have one...
Hmm, I didn't test out the censor, I think it's primarily for blocking curse words, whereas activetext is more selling advertising (at least thats what I approached Rick with when feature sugguestions where being written down).

Yes, I would agree with you. I was just looking to stretch it to ban the names of companies looking for free advertising.
Although, it is also possible to use the active text to do that by taking the input name and having active text change it to an output name with link. Very inter-esting.
You have a nice day Mr. Oregon and as always, thank you for help.

I enjoy ActiveText a lot since it's gotten added; it's verry flexable, even more so than the censor it seems ...
