I am receiving this MySql error message when some of my users are trying to access UBBT: Script: - Line: Unable to connect to the database! - User maritime@localhost has already more than 'max_user_connections' active connections Does anybody know why I am sometimes receiving this type of an error message?

Simply put, more users are connecting to the MySQL server than what the MySQL server allows; the option to increase it is "max_user_connections", however if you're on a shared host you'll have to have your webhost increase it (if they're willing to anyway). When the limit is hit, it will kill all connections until the timeframe of the limit has passed. You can find more information on max_user_connections here.

Then, shouldn't it also do it to me as well?

The limit can be a per minute limit, whereby if you're on after that minute expires, you'll not recieve it... Theres a few error types involved in that mysql module i believe.

I will keep an eye on the MySQL error log in the CP to see how often it happens and who it happens to.

This message also seems to be showing up with the other message: Script: /home/virtual/site5/fst/var/www/html/forums/libs/ubbthreads.inc.php - Line: 2067 select t1.USER_DISPLAY_NAME,t1.USER_PASSWORD,t1.USER_SESSION_ID, t1.USER_MEMBERSHIP_LEVEL, t2.USER_TOTAL_PM, t1.USER_ID, t1.USER_IS_BANNED,t1.USER_IS_UNDERAGE, t2.USER_STYLE,t2.USER_HIDE_LEFT_COLUMN,t2.USER_HIDE_RIGHT_COLUMN from ubbt_USERS AS t1, ubbt_USER_PROFILE as t2 where t1.USER_ID = '' and t1.USER_ID = t2.USER_ID - Are these two messages somehow connected?

I doubt it, the one simply says there was an error with the query, whereas the other was an error with the mysql server going over its limits.
