I'm trying to move my Threads 6.5.5 database from a MySQL 4.1.18 to a 5.0.24 server. When I make the move and update my config file, I get a "Database Error only visible to Administrator". I have another Threads installation using MySQL 5.0.24, so I know it works. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

To see the actual error you'll want to edit the mysql.inc.php file. Around line 193 you'll see where it says:
$showerror = 0;
Change that to:
$showerror = 1;

Thanks Rick. Here's the error I'm getting: We cannot proceed.
Script: /Volumes/Backup/WebSites/www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/ubbt.inc.php
Line#: 1608
SQL Error: Table 'bonneville.w3t_Users' doesn't exist
SQL Error #: 1146
Query: SELECT U_Username,U_Password,U_SessionId, U_StyleSheet, U_Status, U_Privates, U_FrontPage, U_Number, U_Banned,U_LastOn,U_OC_Userid FROM w3t_Users WHERE U_Number = '9' What about case-sensitivity? My table is actually named 'w3t_users' with a lowercase 'u'. Could this be the problem?

Step one would be to make sure that the database name is still "bonneville", step two would be to make sure the table "w3t_Users" exists. If step 2 is the issue, then it'd likely be a case sensativity issue.

It was a case-sensitivity issue. At some point, my tables were not switched from all lowercase.
