I (and other users now) find a hard time noticing the hot topic and sticky icon, way over on the right, by the number of posts... (something most don't read).
Is there a thought process behind not having those with the rest of the little icons on the left?
Thanks... Andrew

A quick look, shows that there is room both below the yellow/white folder on the left, or below the post icon... so there is actually room for both the sticky, and the flames...

Any of the extra post information will go over here. It's not just the hot topic icon and stickies. You could also have the attachment icon, watched icon and poll icon over there as well. If it happens to have all 5 then it takes up quite a bit of space which is why we needed to move them over there.

I agree about the reasoning... having 5 icons in the posting icon area would stretch the table and it'd be quite ugly and not conform to the design...

Ok, I see the point. Just wish they were somewhere more visible...
Perhaps BEFORE the subject of the post? Bumping it to the right, just the width of the icon?
For stickies, that would certainly help make them stand out from the rest of the messages.
The issue is, and I see it on these forums too, I have to visually "dig" through the subject lines to find the real topics...

I see these "template editors" in the CP... are these things I could tweak using those?

Most of the design aspect is in the templates; be sure to make backups before breaking/editing things though
