I know I can place the WOL in the left or right columns. IF a user wants to turn either of those off and it contains the WOL link/list does it appear in the NAV bar? Is there a way to place it there but not have it redundent if it is in the side column?
I know I have GD2 working (works on my VB site) but yet UBBT claims it is not there? Ideas?

Do you have True Type installed, with GD2 ?

My VB is configured to work with GD (True Type Font) so I would have to say yes

There have been simular issues about this, you could either do the following for speed; 1. Search these forums for a simular issue (there are one or two recently) 2. Install Image magic instead. 3. wait a bit longer for Rick to come on line? 4. Begin a support ticket. Sorry i cant help any further as i'm not confident with GD

Gave up with GD as UBBT seems to have a problem detecting it properly and went with ImageMagic. Rick, you posted a PHP file for testing, though the other user gave up and went with ImageMagic. If you want let me now and I will help test. Thanx Mark for the replies

I think we may have to switch to a .png output. We're using the .gif extensions for our CAPTCHA images and gif support wasn't available in GD between versions 1.6 and 2.0.28.

Just to chime in here, I much prefer ImageMagick over GD, there is more color depth and you can see the images much clearer IMO
