Currently it does not pickup style settings for unread messages (as it really is a private forum view it should look the same.)

including member color as well on the left side. ie: admins red, mods green..

I guess ideally it could use the same scripts and templates used for "normal" forums

I agree on colors; I think members should know if they're talking to an staffer via visually seeing that they're actually staff vs relying on their title (which at some forums won't be "moderator" in the first place)

I guess ideally it could use the same scripts and templates used for "normal" forums hehe, including 'previous topic (pm)' 'index' 'next topic (pm)' yep, very close to the same showflat vs viewmessage

Currently it does not pickup style settings for unread messages (as it really is a private forum view it should look the same.) It also does this when it changes screens when making a post and your not using the default. Or if there is a UBB ERROR page to be displayed that also jumps out if your not using default settings.

oh also, viewmessages is hardwired @ 20 per page. if you are intending to make the above changes, pull in the board + user preference as to the number per page.

merging into showflat makes sense for many reasons, because the queries are VERY similar to produce desired arrays for the tpl. also allows threaded vs flat as per board + user pref. also add:
