My CP is recording a user's "Last On" date and time but not "Last IP". Is there a setting I can change to record that info.?

Hmm, I'll need to look and see if that's a code problem with the page, or just something we aren't tracking. I'm thinking it's going to need a code change.

I noticed this with a user who posted spam on my forums today, was really suprised the his last post ip wasn't logged...

This looked at for 7.3?

Also, in Classic, you could search by "Last Activity" IP in addition to Registration and Last Post IP. In Threads, you can view a person's "Last On" IP by looking at a member profile, but you can't search all members by "Last On" IP. Any chance that could make it into Threads?

Not sure about 7.3 but with all the work going on by Ian and SD to help Rick, I'm sure it will be along soon enough.

Just to add onto this.

I'm currently looking through my member accounts to delete inactive accounts. I'm finding conflicting information when viewing an account in Control Panel, compared to looking at the person's profile on the board itself.

Here's an example of one member in Control Panel:
Last On: June 06, 2003 12:00 PM
Last IP:
Last Post:
Reg IP: 64.12.96.166
Reg Date: June 06, 2003 12:00 PM

But when viewing his profile on the board, his last post was made on July 24, 2005 04:38 PM.

Could be that stuff was not imported over?

it was a 6.7 classic import, if that makes a diff

Likely, that info wasn't ported over (for whatever reason) and it used a placeholder date.

Will the missing "Last On IP" make it into 7.3?
