At some point in conversion from a 6.x version to the database driven 7.x version, one of my users lost all of his registration information and his posts show as "Anonymous Unregistered."
Is there an easy way or way at all to go in and merge these posts into his new registration? He wants credit for all of his posts.

Yes I believe so as we did it to our Moderator and Admin accounts when they got wiped out.
I'll look and see if I have the code at home and post back if one of the other programmer boys don't post back before I do.

Well, it'd involve database diving... Once the user is registered, you'd have to locate the user who his old posts belong to, and change the uid on his old posts to his new uid...

What I thought. Should be easy to find anonymous in a field... just time to change each record.
