Hello folks, is there any chance that an admin changeable edit time on a per forum basis will be implemented? We need this very much on http://forum.astronomie.de for our "I want to sell" and "I want to buy" boards.

Such a feature would be very useful There used to be a mod for an older version on ubbdev - not sure if it is easily convertible, will have to have a look.

It would be great, if this would make it in 7.3. This would take the bunch of moderator I have out of my back, which are yelling at me since we've updated from 6.5. to 7.x.

in all honesty, there are thousands of requests (look at the size of the suggestions forum), demanding it in at a specific version is a low blow (directly at all of the other feature requests); especially since when development of that version starts the feature set is ultimately locked down...
I will agree, great feature suggestion, would love to have it, however there are quite a lot of requests/demands already on the plate so it honestly depends on popularity and the level of difficulty to build the options (and if Ian, SirDude, or Rick decide "hey, that sounds mighty fine, I'll do it!")
however, if you're interested in modifying your forums, you could head on over to UBBDev and request a modification; you'd have a better chance of getting that up and running in the short-term vs waiting on "core code".

I like the idea All idea's have to start somewhere, and some of them are only now showing up in the 7.3 change log. I like it because its another feather in the software's cap of custom ability.
BOOM !! Version v7.6.1.1 People who inspire me Isaac ME Gizmo

@Giz: the most important thing I want to see this in the core code is, that I don't have to install the modification after each softwareupdate.

well, i understand you there Thorsten. i had to install about 10 or more mods each time..
now the number is dwindling towards zero..
i'd hope the same trend for you over time..
