Hi,
Currently as a moderator, the default (I think) is a 1 day ban, the option to extend the ban only appears for moderators if you return to the profile.
I would like to see the immediate option to ban for a longer period.
In addition it would be nice to have a spammer link for admin / chosen mods / global mods.
This would be a one click option to do the following.
1) move all posts from the spammer to a hidden forum or delete (depending upon admins choice) 2) to permanent ban the spammer.
This would speed up removal of the spammer - especially if he/she had posted multiple times on a forum.
Thanks.

Kind of off topic, but if your spammers are of the ebay affiliates variety you can use the bad word censor to mess up their URLs without having to take the step of banning them.
e.g.
