Hi,

On our boards, to be notified you must opt in to receive notifications. Some places, it is hard to even see how to do this. It is very similar to the check box below. Ironically, Add my signature to this post is checked by default while Add this topic tomy Watched Topics is not. Plus, I am starting this thread while when I post to other threads on OUR board, I can't even find how to add to watched topics.

I belong to Experts-Exchange, and it is nice, because if you post by asking the question or if you post an answer, you are always notified unless you opt out.

Any ideas? Thanks.

You could edit the template that is used for creating reply's and new topics and get some other default value in?
