I asked this question a while back, but I can't seem to find it, so I'm posting it again.
The FAQ is out of date... example:
Can I attach a file to my post? If you have a browser that is Mozilla 4+ compatible then yes, you can. When you preview your post you will have the opportunity to attach a file to your post.
That is no longer accurate, and at a glance there are similar mistakes in the FAQ. Any update eminent?

The only FAQ i maintain is the FAQ forum; I'd be unsure what info would require updating as I don't utilize the faq... Thoguh I'm hoping we'll have a built in wiki-like system to replace the FAQ someday

just click on the FAQ link and see if it's accurate. not utilizing it doesn't prevent your lending extensive knowhow to make that text accurate.
if i took that approach, i wouldn't be updating active topics script, because i don't use it..
eg: look @ the bbcode FAQ. it's outdated, big time.. no?

Can I attach a file to my post? If you have a browser that is Mozilla 4+ compatible then yes, you can. When you preview your post you will have the opportunity to attach a file to your post. What is inaccurate with this post? It simply states that so long as you don't have an ancient browser (Pre IE6) that you can upload files; granted it needs a notice that the forum needs to have attachments disabled. And I get that the bbcode list needs updated. Other than that, if you could go through and find problems that you have with it, i'll make sure they get reported to Rick or SD or whomever is working on 7.3 at the time. I've also noted that the PM section needs reworked as we use the on/off graphics vs letters. And the display preferences section makes no sense lol...

There is a wiki mod over at ubbdev that doesn't alter any ubb code and thereby wouldn't invalidate any licence agreements

There is a wiki mod over at ubbdev that doesn't alter any ubb code and thereby wouldn't invalidate any licence agreements Altering the code of your forum does not violate your license agreement. On a future date, there will be a FAQ mod posted by me on ubbdev that will utilitize ubb.threads itself as the CMS for the FAQ. I have it working currently on my forum, I just have to port it over to the ubb.threads environment one day.

Altering the code of your forum does not violate your license agreement. ok - perhaps a poor/incorrect choice or words. I believe that modified code is however unsupported - is that correct?

That is correct. If you need official support, you need to have an unmodified forum.
But that would be the first step I would take anyway in case of major problems, I would first remove all my alterations and see if that solves the problem.

The Netherlands is known under various terms both in English and other languages. These are used to describe the different overlapping geographical, linguistic and political areas of the Netherlands. This is often a source of confusion for people from other parts of the world. In English the country is called 'the Netherlands' (or frequently 'Holland'), while the people and the language are called 'Dutch'. Note that in Dutch the official (and predominant) terms for these are 'Nederland', 'Nederlanders' and 'Nederlands', although they are occasionally (colloquially) called 'Holland', 'Hollanders' and 'Hollands'.

For those Americans, just because WE call a country something, doesn't mean that is what they call themselves ... BTW Yarp, semi curious what your faq thing looks like, I was planning to throw something together myself. i think i'll be visiting your site tonight .
