Didn't see a thing. No queues at petrol stations and plenty of fuel tankers driving up and down the motorways.

I filled up late night at Tesco on Friday 14th and they were out of diesel at all pumps.
Regular unleaded no probs.

Here in the states, they can't say it's illegal to protest; and let me tell you; we have some absolutely stupid protests... lol

i like the tree climber / huggers living in the trees as a protest to not cut them down... NOT... last i saw, they went nude for some photo ops...

Here in the states, they can't say it's illegal to protest; and let me tell you; we have some absolutely stupid protests... lol Without obtaining a permit to gather they can. Rarely do they, but they can.

They have made it illegal to protest anywhere near parliament for any reason. It is also illegal to protest blocking any vital services, and fuel has been added to a growing list.
It also used to be the law that you could go anywhere without fear of trespass - you could not be prosecuted for walking anywhere. The signs 'trespassers will be prosecuted' was or is still illegal to display - however they have now made certain places a crime if you do walk into them.
So slowly laws are being brought in to restrict what we can and can't do freely.

I have a "Trespassers will be shot" sign hanging on the side of my house  ... I also have one on my bedroom door, but that's a completely differant... yeh lol
