In the past on classic I was able to not allow users to upload a custom avatar image till they reached 100 post's on my board.
I can not seam to figure out how do set that in threads. The problem is that new users right away like to upload a very large avatar or something without reading the rules. Plus I don't want some kid putting up nude avatars. In the past we weeded out the naughty people before they got to the point of custom avatars.

You can do this in 7.3 by creating a new group and allowing users to upload avatars after they reach your post target of 100 (or whatever limit you decide).
In Group Management create a new group, put 100 in the Post Count field, copy all your settings from your regular group (e.g. Users) but in the [Site] permissions change Can specify a remote avatar or Can upload an avatar from 0 to 1.

I take it that there is not Group Management in 7.2.2
I will have to wait for the final release if 7.3 then for that ability. Thanks.

Ok, I see that in 7.2.2 but will have to wait for the final release of 7.3 before I can do that. Thanks.

Group management is added in 7.3; so prior versions won't see the option.
