I recently converted one of my sites into a threads based site. The community aspect of the site is in its infancy, but I think the site does a decent breaking out of the standard threads design mold. The only major alteration to the code is to put the login in & breadcrumb under the main menu. Here is www.music4drums.net.

Nice looking site, but isn't "music for drums" an oxymoron? I played in band/marching band for 11+ years - that's a little band nerd joke

What message board are you using?
It looks like the UBB Threads new beta but I didn't see the copyright at the bottom. Are we allowed to remove that now?

Yeh, looks good. Where's the copyright gone? Can't tell what version you're running.

Hi,
Looks like you have removed the copyright from the footer - this must be displayed under the licence agreement.

2. Copies; Notices. Except as provided in this Section 2, a separate license is required for each additional bulletin board instance. You may make a reasonable number of copies of the Software solely for emergency back-up, testing or archival purposes. These copies must not be publicly available. Further, You may load the Software onto another CPU server owned or operated by You on a hot "redundancy" basis. The ultimate result must be only one publicly accessible instance of the message board per license. The "Powered By" legend in the HTML title may be removed; however, the copyright and "Powered By" legends at the bottom of each page may not be removed. You may modify the positioning and colors, and/or remove the hyperlink to the Groupee website, as long as the legends remain readily perceptible to the human eye. Beyond these specific stipulations, You may not alter any proprietary notices and legends of Groupee that are contained in the Software, within the scripts and HTML generated by the scripts, and related documentation as delivered under this License. You acknowledge that any unauthorized removal or modifications of these notices or legends is a breach of this License.

Nice looking site, but isn't "music for drums" an oxymoron? That's why it is music for drums. A real musician creates the music and we just bang on pots and pans.

Thanks for pointing that out. I was editing it to put my designed by info with it and I guess I didn't upload the final version. Thanks again.
