I need to rotate banner ads in the banner of my forum pages. I see many examples of php code and javascript here. I tried inserting javascript code in the "html includes" and it didn't work.

I'm starting from scratch and would like advise on the 'best' (and easiest) way to rotate banners in my forums.

The best and easiest way would be to use a custom content island to insert your code, then use the ads as interstitial ads - they show up below the first post in a topic in designated forums. These ads have been shown to be one of the most effective ways to advertise.

I think I would prefer javascript to rotate the header banner. I've tried to put the javascript in the 'html includes' field, but it doesn't work. Am I putting the javascript in the correct place?
