I am working with some language files that are encoded in EUC-JP.

It seems that the Shout Box is not working when EUC-JP is specified in generic.php language file.

Is there any way round keeping EUC-JP as the encoding in a language file, but also letting the Shout Box operate?

usually does - north of watford and all that.....
