Hi Rick,
The READ ME file only gave this instruction:
Place the dosearch.inc.php file inside your scripts directory.
The problem is that I log into my site and I can't find a folder where this would go? The UBB folder is really a large file that I can't seem to open. Since you installed this for us originally, I am not sure where to put this file? We don't have a "scripts" directory that I can find?

Should be at the top level of your forums. As long as you are running 7.x it will be there

There is one by that name already, yes. Simply replace the existing file with the file in the zip and you're done. Nothing more to do.

I guess I am really stupid. I am not seeing where to put this. When I enter via FTP my website, there are folders of all types. I don't see a file in this main entry spot that is appropriate. There is no folder with files for the board inside that I can open. So.. I got into the folder that says "web" and all my site folders and files are there. Now what?

Look in "web" for one named "forums". Inside the "forums" folder look for a file named dosearch.inc.php. Replace that file with the one from the zip. That's all there is to it.
And for the record, not knowing doesn't make you stupid. Not asking would have, but you did so you're not. Make sense?

Ok, in your UBBThreads folder, there is a folder named "scripts"; this replacement file goes in there.

Please verify for me. I checked the date on the new script verses the date on the script in 7.3.1 that I downloaded and installed today. It looks like 7.3.1(today) has the new script, correct???? Thanks

Yes, if you downloaded the UBB Install files after Rick made his announcement it is included.

Brian, are you running UBB CLassic or Threads? My hunch is you're running Classic.
