Hi there, I'm hoping someone can perhaps offer some insights into an annoying prob our board has developed.

We're running 7.2.1 with around 250K posts. The search function for the board appears to have gotten more and more unreliable. It fails to find things it should find and people are increasingly complaining about it.

Any suggestions as to what action we can take?

Thanks!

Logon to your Server console and run phpAdmin and MySQLAdmin if you have them and look for errors. You can also reindex the databases which might correct the issue.

Do you have a specific example of failed query?

1. By default the search must be 4 characters or longer.
2. The search term can not be one of the reserved words of MySQL

Thanks for that. How do I reindex? I can't see anything in control panel...
