Well we got a bit cooler which was good, but still had to sleep with no cover sheets.
I don't like too much heat but I suppose it's better than too much cold all the time. I'd rather visit the cold areas than live in them.

Wow.... wish Rick hadn't posted that POLL Too many negative items seemed to flair up from that one.

First issue is the Temp. I don't like under 90 degrees air and 85 degrees water. That is why I am in Florida. Winter came on a Wednesday this year. Now it is gone 7 days later. Second the poll: Yes I guess a lot of people are very passionate about what direction they want this software to take.

I'd much rather have cold than hot... I mean, you can only take so much off; and even then it can still be hotter ... At least with the cold you can put something warm on and then cover yourself with a blanket...

Right now it is 64 degrees and I am outside and shivering. Not for me. The hotter the better.

Temptation ! Gizmo your not allowed to post in this thread. Or is the Temptation Too Great lol... Ive started this thread as a Gizmo Free Zone. We plan to prevent Gizmo's post count from climbing With "I agree" - "My Thoughts" - "Hmmm" etc... All in good fun.... We could talk about how great IE7 is to tease a reply. You know we love you really...Do you like IE7 or your thoughts on the relase of vista Or i could be forced to post another Number Six Puzzel lol [Edited by Gizmo]: Never said anything about editing your post... You suck. That is all ... You know I finally read the starting topic on this thread. Even though I have migrated to all Bill Gates software. I hate Vista but love XP. And I am just starting to love Firefox in lieu of IE7.Thanks to Gizmo. But he is not allowed to post here.

Somehow my post count dropped precipitously. I went from something like 11 thousand to 1783. What happened here?

Yes in general I'd kind of agree with you on the temp thing Giz, but long term in the cold is a PITA. Everything you do, or places you go take more work and effort to do. Yeah, I'll stay in the warmer climate and still just visit the colder ones when wanted.

Well if you want a REAL annoying experience then install Windows Vista 64 Bit and run it for a while. I've tried it a few times but the hoops and hassles you have to keep going through just are not worth it for me on a production system. I'll still use it for like a Graphics station but not a daily user box.
Heck, not even Flash installs on native 64 Bit
If you don't do much on the PC and you have all new hardware then you might get along okay with 64 Bit, but once you start to do a little bit more then the tweaks and workarounds start to flourish. Too bad really since 64 Bit has been around for probably at least a decade if not more.

Has anyone seen this? I just noticed on a recent new site I was visiting and they had this, then I went to the main site to check it out. Kind of a cool idea I think. vbgaming.org

We had/have something similar for older .threads sites. I don't think it got much into the 'cash' aspect, but members could play and top scores were tracked and winners/losers of games. Pretty nice. I think the guy who wrote it took his toys and went home a while back tho

I've seen several, and used a couple; there are some that are UBB.T7 supported... Ian was using one for a while...

Just thought it was interesting. Don't think I'd play it much on an actual Forum (if really wanted to play I'd go to like Yahoo/MSN Games for more full fledged online games) but since some people were looking for other "community" features to add, that could be one more to add.

BTW - am giving up smoking!
Was smoking easily 40+ a day - had 7 on Wednesday, 2.5 yesterday and so far none today.
Am not saying I will not smoke at all over the next few days, but one or two a day will be far better than 40 or 50!
We are off to Paris tonight for the weekend.... So will have to see if I can reduce it whilst we are away.

Giz! How'd you let Ruben post twice as much as you?? He spams worse than me... ok - here's the lowdown... Giz current total 12020 RR current total 314 dif 11706 ( Spamming differential - SpaD) rpm 179 (Ruben per month) gpm 88 (Giz per month) dif 91 ( Posting differential - PoD) (Time to overtake postings (Ttop) - at current ros (rate of spamming) 1:2.03 ) Ttop = SpaD / PoD11706/91 = 128.64 months or 10.72 years Giz UniT needs to get with the programme and up his gpm to increase the PoD otherwise in 10+ years there's gonna be a new spam king in town....!

If you go by the registration dates for each of us it probably will take 20 years for me to catch up. By then I will be to old to know the difference anyway.

You forgot to add a handicap for me. Since I am a old fart with vision going, arthritis, and possibly dementia on the way. It would be fair to factor in a handicap for me. HA! HA!

Gizzy you are soooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky.
I no longer remember the DB password so I can't log in and "adjust" your post count. If I change the password the whole site will go down. I won't do that, so your post count is safe unless/until I remember. At my age, I'm not going to remember.
Lucky you.

LOL - Well I'm not quite that old but seems I have some of those symptoms already and that really sucks. If I'm experiencing these deficiencies already it makes me wonder how I'll be in another 10 years or so.
