An Original Poster is able to delete his/her entire thread by simply deleting their first post but how do they delete individual posts by others that are extremely abusive or otherwise totally inappropriate?

Our forums are unmoderated and we feel OP's should be able to exercise some control over at least their own threads when the sociopaths show up.

I don't think you'll get the answer you're wanting - 6.04d is sooooo old. There isn't a way to do what you want without a modification on the scripts - very few people have that version handy and for them to write it specifically on your site will probably be cost-prohibitive.

Best advice would be to upgrade - to at least 6.5.5, but even then your scripts are un-supported until you get into the 7.x series. Permissions have been improved greatly in the 7.3+ series fitting something like this in probably wouldn't be as expensive.
