Database tables created fine.

Get a blank screen when running newuser.php

ANy suggestions?

Did you upload that in ASCII?
It could also be a corrupted file - you might try re-uploading the file.
What are your permissions on config.inc.php and main.inc.php files, and all the includes? They should be set at 666.
Also - what version of php are you using? (Needs to be 4.0 or greater)

Hi Kate

Does your reply imply that it should be uploaded as ASCII?

Is the manner in which files are uploaded - i.e. as ASCII or Binary - documented anywhere?

yes Dave, it is documented http://www.infopop.com/support/ubbthreads/UBBTinstall.html

Does it matter? Depends on if your PHP is a cgi binary or an Apache module. The former yes, the latter no. Rather then make someone try to sleuth out the answer to that that we just advise always ASCII for PHP files.
