Anyone else having an issue with the window Who's online not updating at all? The main page who's online works as it should, just the window will not update unless I go into CP, go to general under who's online tab and click submit. If I do that it will update it, then it is stuck there again. All other times on the boards seem correct (as I thought it might be the cpu clock was off or something). Any others with this issue?

There are two places for cache times. One you went to already the other is at
» Control Panel » Portal Settings .
I would put them both at the same time.

Also if your site has very little traffic it may not update to quickly. I just tried your site and it updates you just have to select the who's on line a couple of times till the cache times out. If you had a little more activity you would see it update more frequently as to what you have it set for.

kk thanks I found the second one after I posted and set them both to 8 mins. Still isn't updating on my end very much on my end but I did see a difference after I set both times to the same. Thanks

EDIT: actually the main who's online is updating, it is the island that isn't.

Yep it needs some activity to speed it along.

well my main window was at 11 earlier dropped down to 2 back to 11 and now there is 12 showing on the main whos online screen but the island hasn't changed since I reset the cache manually after my original post.

nm thanks Ruben seems to be fine. Maybe you're right. As soon as I hit the who's online button again it updated.

*sigh* sometimes....dang PFM. lol

yes I had the same concerns and posted about it.
But the real issue if you have a slow site it will appear it is not working until you select the link and force it to rebuild.

Don't forget that the user has to be online for at least the time set in the control panel. If they logon and logout in say 60 seconds it may show or may not.

Maybe Rick will work on it in the future to rebuild it differently.

Yeah it is working fine now so this is a non-bug. Operator error is more the cause.
