I didn't know where to post this, I am sorry if it is in the wrong area.
I am trying to help out with a board and I am looking for certain addons to use.
Styles, I think I have found them on here...
But I am looking for new functions, sorry I am not sure what to call them. I am looking for a tab that users can click on to see "New Posts" only. It would be so nice to have this available. And a "Thanks" tab that would be on every post and members can thank that member for posting.
Is there anywhere on here I could find those, I have tried doing a search but with not knowing the exact words I am needing to use in search I haven't had much luck.

Technically a add on is called a modification or (MOD).
They are not supported here by the vendor.
You may try UBBDEV they are a group of people mostly visitors here that provide mods.
But to answer your question for new posts you have a few options in the stock software already.
Active topics: Menu at the top of the screen.
Watched topics: Accessible from the My Stuff menu at the top of the screen.
Post islands: Here it is called recent topics that can be configured from the control panel.

I believe a "points" mod was created early v7 (that or late classic v6) that the premace could be improved upon for a "thank this post" feature (or user kharma featuree)

Would need to be set on a per forum basis too - I use that extensively on a photography forum I take part in... very nice and stops a lot of the

"I agree"
posts.

I think the star rating is better. only get one shot at a rating and thats it. The Carma system sucks.
