I'm getting I have chowned and chgrped to drumline for styles and all folders/files within. I have also chmod 777 styles and styles/images as well as chmod 666 all files in styles and styles/images.

When I create a new style, however, it is owned by nobody and I have to chown it.

I can delete styles just fine...

All css and php files that UBB creates in the styles directory have ownership of nobody and group ownership of nobody. If I import a style, it works fine, but it is set to nobody so I cannot edit it. If I try to create a style, every time it creates an empty style and I cannot edit it. Even after I telnet in as root and chown and chgrp, I cannot edit any of my styles.

Hmm, will need to look at this and make sure we're trying to set permissions properly.

I found the problem. It really does not like it when you try to create a style with any forward slashes in its name. This creates the following line in its attached PHP file of something like which is read as "hot" being a folder.

Moral of the story, for the time being, do not use forward slashes when naming styles. And apparently, the owner being nobody has nothing to do with it, since this is still the case for new files, but it works as long as you don't include that pesky forward slash.
