I am going to use groups. How do I set it up that when a new person registers he has to choose a specific group to join? Now the registrant goes to "users" and I want to eliminate that group

Otherwise if you have groups with access to private forums or features they could just chose what group they want to belong to.

Gizmo not to sound pretentious but I have A LOT of your documentation saved in archives. I am new to this side of the house (as I merely moderated forums before, and have learned alot about UBB in the past 2 going on 3 years) and 80% of what I have learned was from reading your posts. I am no programmer but I look at what you and Sir Dude put out and I am like, "oh shoot I can do that" I try it and I usually have no issue (as long as I follow it step by step ) lol
