All,

I was upgrading a small forum to 7.5.3 as a precursor to upgrading our main forums to 7.5.3. I thought I was in the dir for the small forum, but was in the dir for the main forum (yes slap me now). I made some file permission changes and when I realized I was in the wrong forum I thought I reversed the file perms I made. Now I can't get into my control panel - when I bring up /forums/admin/login.php it just give me a blank screen.

I need some quick help.

Blank screen means it's probably logging the actual error to the error log. If you look in your webserver error logs you might get some more info on what's going wrong. If everything else is working except for the control panel, and all you did was change permissions, I'd check the permissions on the following.

admin
languages/english/admin
templates/default/admin

Since you had an upgrade ticket with the info in place I was able to get this fixed for you. It was the permissions on your languages/english/admin directory. Looks like maybe you did a chmod 666 on the files within languages/english directory which made the admin directory unreadable.
