What is causing this? (UBB 7.5.3) - I have a language folder and in there is the english folder

I'd check the permissions on those folders and make sure they are fully readable.

DGirl on your cross post you stated that the language folder had 774 for permissions. On my site all of my language folders are set to 755.
Also as I stated in your other post you can check them from the ubb control panel.

They should all show ok . If one shows failed you can click on the lines and see which one has failed if it is just one file and not a folder.
