Hi there,

Clients on our forums aren't able to open their private messages - at least, they have a flashing email symbol but can't get anything to open. I've tested this by sending them additional private messages and they are able to open these. Are the first PMs just false alerts and if so, how do I fix this? I'm not very technical at all so a basic explanation would be quite helpful! We're on version 7.2.2. I'm sure someone will tell me that it's time to upgrade! Thanks for your help in advance...

You'll definitely want to look into upgrading at some point since we've done some work to correct this issue. Basically it's a false message but the envelope still flashes. If you can't upgrade at the moment, go ahead and open up a support ticket and I'll do a temporary fix via SQL for now.
