UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums General Suggestions and Feedback UBB 8.1 wishlist

With the feature set of UBB 8.0 pretty much locked by now, I think now is the time to come up with suggestions for UBB.threads 8.1.

Here are some of mine:

• Public polls, where the creator of the poll can specify whether to make the users who voted viewable in the results. Can be enabled or disabled by admin.
• Poll color coding, where the user can specify the colors for each bar in the results chart.
• Hybrid view. Similar to threaded view, but displays all child posts in addition to the selected post.
• A UBB Code tag for tables.
• The ability to edit and review polls before posting.

I still want to see integrated chat and moblogs.

I can also see the need for a classifieds with some forums.

Aw hell no. People still can't close their tags in the right order and you want them to think about tables?

Just use HTML and be done with it. Or better/worse, wiki markup for tables isn't that bad.

Most shared hosting providers still have a strict ban on web-based chat, unfortunately. :/

Can you imagine all the service tickets over unclosed tables :X

I think what is being used for the shout box can be adapted to a chat page.
