Good morning.
I just upgraded to the latest from using 6.7.2 for a very, very long time. Two questions (that I can't find answers for in the documentation):
On the main screen of my forum, there is a drop down for style selector... I would like to remove that drop down from my users both in control panel and on the screen. Where do I do that?
I would like to email all registered users of the forum. I know there is a facility to do that, but I can't find it.
Can someone help? Thank you!

For the styles if its what I am thinking your talking about. Go to the template->default directory. Edit footer.tpl Look for <form method="post" action="" name="prefs">
<input type="hidden" name="curl" value="{$current_url}" />
{$styles} {$langs}
</form> I comment it out and looks like this <!--
<form method="post" action="" name="prefs">
<input type="hidden" name="curl" value="{$current_url}" />
{$styles} {$langs}
</form>
-->

That did it. Thanks, gd. Thoughts on the mass email utility?

Sorry. Go to the cp->member management. Click advance search, select group user then submit. You will see actions you can select all in result and in the drop down you can select email

Instead of editing the template. You could of just opened cp>>styles and deselected all but one of the styles as active. That would also turn off the template selection for users.

I edit template because I want registered users only to have that option to change their style

You can also delete the style selector from view by using some CSS: <style type="text/css">
.footer form { display: none; }
</style> I just throw that into the "header includes" section of the CP (CP -> Display Options -> General -> HTML Includes -> Header Insert)
