I'd like to allow users to be able to create their own custom titles after say 100 posts or something.

You can do that by creating a new group under "Group Management." Then under the site link set "Can set a Custom Title" to 1 and the post count to 100.

almost correct, Chosen: "Can set Custom Title" is actually a number of characters MAX, so a number of 1 only allows for custom titles of 1 char... i usually set it to 20 or 32ish..

What if I like to limit my custom titles to only 1 letter? Now that I think of it, I think I actually did make that mistake when I first enabled it for users.

Yep I am guilty of the same thing. You get used to just poking a 1 or 0 in the permissions you forget the read the notes like on custom titles.

I made things worse on my site because custom titles is something I have a subscription set up for, so the people that noticed it thought they were getting ripped off. Fortunately they were cool about it once I explained that I'm not a thief, just an idiot.

I use "custom titles" as one of the perks for paid members, too. It seems to be a big deal for some people!
