How do I change the font, color and size of my forums?
They are currently small and blue in color. I would like them to be a little larger and match the color of the background skin.
Thanks

That would be in:
Control Panel > Styles
you could start with the general css properties.

I would strongly suggest you use the export style with wrapper before you change anything.
Then if it gets hosed up you can at least import the style back to where it was before.

That is why I recommended to make a backup first.
It is a little intimidating.
But if you open each css property and see a font size. Change it to something else. Then select the update preview area button.

For example:
.breadcrumbs
has
font-size: 9pt
Change it to say 20pt then click on the update button and you will see a change.
It is not something that is very simple.
Because first you have to figure out what css property is used for what.
There is some hint if you click on the ? next to each one but it is not completely intuitive.

If you are on OS X I highly recommend the tool CSSedit for modifying your forum CSS, or any CSS for that matter. It makes it dead simple and helps you learn CSS at the same time.

I have changed the font size of the forum topics but having trouble with color. currently they are blue. not sure on the color codes, I see the color # in the box but not sure what to change it to. Is there a color # chart? Also I would like to change the topic font size and color also. I found where to change but there is not a font size currently listed. so I added font-size 12pt; but it will not change. thoughts:?

They are blue because they are links.
In the style editor try
css properties
Body
Select special link properties.
As far as color goes it is a hex number.

There are lots of color code charts online, in fact to many to even list.
One I use on ocassion is:
http://www.colorcombos.com/color-scheme-99.html

google this
color #336699
That is the default color you should have now for the links.

Ruben, Using the link you provided I have found a color that I would like. Should I be able to just copy and paste the color # in the css box? I have tried that but the colors do not change.

Make sure you are selecting the right CSS selector. Along with the above tool I mentioned, Firebug is also great for identifying selectors to modify.

besides the correct style setting.
If this is a link you are trying to change the color on you have for example:
Quote
General CSS Properties
body
color: #000000; background: #ffffff; font-family: Trebuchet MS, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;

Special Link Properties
Unvisited Link color: #336699; background: none;
Visited Link color: #336699; background: none;
Active Link color: #336699; background: none;
Hover Link

Pay attention to the unvisited,visited and active link settings.

Other than that I guess we need more specific information on what you are trying to change. Maybe a screen shot since we don't have a url.
