SQL query to update relative linking for images.

Hey all, had to rebuild my whole system from a failed harddrive. I had backups etc. however when I redid my forums I redid the domain. Now my relative linking for my images (i.e. custom avatars) etc. are still linking to a folder that doesn't exist anymore and I need to update them somehow to point to the new web address. Is there an sql query I can run to update all these orphaned links?

For avatars it would be something like this I believe

SQL Query
UPDATE ubbt_USER_PROFILE SET USER_AVATAR = replace(USER_AVATAR, 'http://www.yourdomain.com/old_path/images/', 'http://www.yourdomain.com/new_path/images/')
