I'm afraid to delete a post from a big thread. I'm afraid that in deleting one post from the middle of the thread i might inadvertently delete some good posts that follow it.

Should i be concerned of this?

Or can i just delete the post from the mid of the thread with no worries?

(the other option would be to simply delete the contents of the post and leave the post itself)

You can delete the post without worries as long as you don't select delete replies/children.

One of the things we do is use a garbage can forum that only the moderators have access to that we will ship off posts and threads to, in case there is an error or it takes some time to moderate the thread.

Won't you take me to Funkytown?
