I made it through the upgrade to 7.5.6, but now I'm testing an image gallery forum and when I try to upload an image I get this error:
We encountered a problem. The reason reported was Script: D:\Inetpub\ubb\scripts\filemanager.inc.php Line#: 292 SQL Error: Incorrect integer value: '' for column 'FILE_SIZE' at row 1 SQL Error #: 1366 Query: UPDATE ubbt_FILES SET FILE_NAME = '6.jpg', FILE_ORIGINAL_NAME = 'CrashingWavesAtSunset.jpg' , FILE_WIDTH = 1200 , FILE_HEIGHT = 450 , FILE_SIZE = '' WHERE FILE_ID = 6
Please click back to return to the previous page.
Obviously it's not picking up the file size, but I need to know why and what to do about it. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

This is a old issue that was supposed to be fixed in your upgrade version. I recall it was caused by people placing file size limits by mb instead of bytes. Meaning that you entered 1mb instead of 1048576 I would double check that filemanager.inc.php is the current flavor on your site. And double check Control Panel ยป Forum Permissions Maximum size of gallery images.
If that is not the case??? Trouble ticket?
Maybe your method of upgrading was not picture perfect. i recall your posted issue with using mysql 5.+

Thanks for your reply Reuben. Yes, I've been through the posts on the issue with people entering mb instead of bytes and didn't make that mistake. I'm curious what you mean about double checking that filemanager.inc.php is the current flavor on my site. How do I do that? Thanks again.

If you open the file with a text editor you will see several lines commented out at the top. One of them will have the version it is for. For example yours should have "Script Version 7.5.6" a few lines from the top.

ok...I got past that... as it turned out it was a problem with the mySQL db being in strict mode.
So now when uploading the images there isn't an error, but there is a problem... They don't actually upload at all. I've checked all my permissions and they're fine. Both the tmp folder and the gallery have proper permissions.
I saw a post where there was a similar situation and it was permissions with the tmp folder, but that isn't the case here unless it needs to be an account different then the IUSR_account.
Everything looks to me like it should work. Is there a setting with Imagemagic that I need to make or something? I'm really unsure what direction to take at this point or even how to troubleshoot it.
Thanks for your help.

If gd2 works then one of two things . Either Imagemagic was not installed or the paths entered were not correct.
