Good day everybody,

I am running UBBthreads 7.5.5. Hackers have inflicted some viruses into the code, but (hopefully) not to the database. So I would like to reinstall the forum using current existing database. My question is how do I do that?

If you are keeping with the same database and version and using a virgin copy. Then just overwrite the same files as per the upgrade instructions.
You should not need to run the upgrade or install scripts.

I would still make a backup first though.

You'll want to upload the files from the version you're already running; you'll want to omit the includes/ styles/ and cache_builders/custom directories (as they contain data for your forum that will be overwritten).

The only time you'll need to run the upgrade script is if you install a newer version than what was installed.
