My logs are filling up with these. There's usually a few each day:
PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1652029 bytes) in /home/libs/ubbthreads.inc.php on line 834
PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1798739 bytes) in /home/libs/ubbthreads.inc.php on line 834
PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1273215 bytes) in /home/libs/ubbthreads.inc.php on line 834
I understand that the maximum value can be raised in php.ini.
However, what I'd like to know is why so much memory is being allocated at once here? Why is it allocating 1MB+ at a time? Is there a problem here, or is this sort of memory usage normal?
Thanks
