Talking in terms of ubb.
I am trying to get a pdf file to appear like a inline image attachment does on ubb in a wp post.
Meaning when viewing a blog post the pdf appears instead of a link to the pdf file.
I have searched the plugins but mayby I am searching for the wrong term.
For that matter is there a way to do the same with a post in ubb?

sure -- i use the google viewer all the time for it ( both WP and UBB ) Linky Poo1. upload pdf to google docs 2. iframe it with the share/embed link 3. looks great

Cool, that looks like it works exactly the way I wanted it to.
Any caveats. Such as cross browser issues, Non google users, Multiple pdf files on one post.
Also what option do you use to insert it in ubb.
Just paste html code?
The reason I ask is due to not all groups are allowed to post with html.

no caveats i use html as admin would do a custom bbcode, if you want to open it up to non-htmlers
