The owner of our website aims to archive all of it including our forum. Would it possible that we could COPY the fourm data leaving him a copy of his own? Could we "migrate" the forum while leaving him with a copy for his own archived website?
thanks again

Yeah, just take everything he has and move it elsewhere, and just leave his current stuff for him to archive... you'd be using two separate domains though

Hi guys,
Our site owner is a wonderful guy, up in years, who's had to downsize his business in this economy. He and his wonderful wife are both way overworked -- sacrificing time with grandchildren to keep both his business and the forum going. Our site owner NEVER wanted to have a forum, our forum was created by one of his former employees. Egos and power struggles on our forum have driven people to submit petty complaints to the site owner.
Meanwhile this forum here has enabled me to consistently provide helpful solutions instead of complaints. The folks on UBBCentral have been a huge help to both our forum and to me personally.
We can't thank you enough.
