I have to rebuild my 7.5.6p2 system due to having to rebuild my server. I have a phpMyAdmin export of all the SQL tables.
Is there anything special required other than doing a clean install of 7.5.6p2 then use phpMyAdmin to import the SQL tables?
Thanks.

No, Other than where you set your forum uploads such as avatars, attachments. Then when you install it will require you have a connection to a database. Then just drop tables and upload your mysql db backup. You just want to make sure you use the same character set for the db you backed up from.

One other oversight on my part. I am assuming you were using at least v7.5.6 when you made your db backup? The patch to p2 did not impact the tables. But some prior versions did.

Then the only issue would be the db character set on a new install. If you converted manually to say utf-8 which is not the default for a new install. At least till the next release when it probably will be converted.

It'd be good for you to backup and "restore" your /includes, /styles, /cache_builder/custom files and folders as these hold your settings.

Okay, I thought Denny knew better than that. But yes if you follow the upgrade documentation then you need to upload those folders again after you are done. So you don't loose anything.
