UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 7 Version 7 Support Messages being marked as read

Hey all,
All of the sudden whenever I leave a forum every message in the forum is marked as read when I go back in. It used to just mark as read the posts that I actually read. All I need to do is go into the forum without actually even viewing a thread for this behavior to happen. Any thoughts?

I've never had this happen, and I have multiple forums that I use fairly regularly.

If this happened to me the first thing I'd test is multiple browsers, just to see if it's cookies related. I don't know if it could be, but it would be what I'd try. Try using the forum from different browsers without logging in. Does it do the same thing then, across all browsers?

I have tried with both Firefox and Explorer with the same behavior on each on two different computers. Seemed to happen after applying the latest security patch.

It appears my forums are on 7.5.6p1 - so you're on 7.5.6p2? It's a fair amount of work for me to do an upgrade, given all the customizations I've added in, but I'm willing to take one of my smaller ones up to p2 as a test over the next week to see if it happens to me. If you can give me a few days I'll put that on my list.
