Hi, First how can check if there has been anything uploaded?? a standard user to obtain elevated permissions on UBB.threads forums and upload malicious files. Nowadays i'm very insecure how to update, is there a read me file that is helpful from 7.5.6p2 to7.5.7? Or I might consider to hire one of you good guys to do it.. Cheers Morgan in Sweden

install/upgrade_changes will tell you which files were added, changed, or removed.

Well, you have to manually police your web space for files that don't exist in the install directory; usually they'll be .php files so if you go into your images and gallery folders it should be pretty obvious... Takes some time to do.

test files are used for checking if directory permissions are correct; I don't know why they aren't expunged once tested though...

You can start with the upgrade docs. They are updated now within the version 7 upgrade So there is no need to read the txt file within the zip file: https://www.ubbcentral.com/doc_upgrade7.phpThen before you upgrade you should backup your site: Using a ftp program such as Filezilla for the scripts and Cpanel for the database
