Running 7.6.2.
I am migrating from one Apache server to another - call them prod and test for discussion. I moved all my web folders from prod to test. I copied all sql files from prod to test. I used phpAdmin to confirm that all the ubb files are there and accessible.
I want to test UBBthreads on the test server. But I have to change some of the base variables pertaining to the paths because the domain name is different on the test server. I can't change that information via the message board software because it won't run with the incorrect path information in the configuration files.
Is there a way to manually change the base path variables outside of the program?
For example I have to change:
/var/www/vhosts/dennyp.com/httpdocs/ubbthreads/libs/ver.inc.php to
/var/www/vhosts/dennyptest.com/httpdocs/ubbthreads/libs/ver.inc.php

Everything is located in /includes/config.inc.php; taking a gander at the UBBWiki article " Migration Guide" should get you where you need to be.
