Or are they trying to do something else with this? Has anyone else seen this in their logs?

ocu is Original Content URL and is used to forward a user who is either logging in or registering back to the page in which they originated from.

So, if I understand you correctly, this user was redirected to the login page when they tried to access addfavuser?

The user got a login prompt when attempting to fav a user, once they login they'll be redirected to the originating page that requested the login system (being the favuser page for that user).
