UBB.threads 8.0.1 Patch Changelog
Version 8.0.1 is a bug-fix patch. There are no new major features in this release.

Primary Changes In This Patch

• Control Panel fix for blank dashboard.
• Fixed Sticky-Posts error.
• Fixed Groups Auto-Join.

Summary of Changes

- Post Side, Top, Gallery, and Profile Initial-Avatars sizing has been adjusted to be more reasonably sized.
- CP: Dashboard now displays open/closed status in in green/red for improved clarity.

### Fixed
- Logging out will now clear both user and admin cookies.
- Fixed Auto-join groups when there are multiple groups.
- Fixed Sticky Posts (announcements).
- CP: Dashboard white screen has been fixed. Forum stats cache cookie is checked for corruption before loading.
- CP: Tools & Info > Cache Manager will now also purge CP Cache Cookies.
- CP: General Display > Text Editor Interface selector no longer offers the hidden incomplete developer options for Apple Safari users.

Upgrading to UBB.threads 8
This is a patch, not a full release. To use this patch, you must have UBB.threads 8.0.0 already installed and running. For routine incremental upgrades, refer to the UBB.threads Upgrade Guide for directions on how to proceed.


Patching UBB.threads from 8.0.0 to 8.0.1
Your forum's Dashboard will display which version you are currently running. UBB.threads Version 8.0.0, Release 20240826 is displayed in the "Server Information" column.

- If your UBB.threads version is 8.0.0 (Release 20240826), you should download the "ubbthreads-8.0.1p.zip" patch from the Member Area and replace (copy over) just the files on your forum with the files from the archive. Your Dashboard should now display "UBB.threads Version 8.0.1, Release 20251126" under the "Server Information" column. After doing that, there is nothing more that you need to do, other than update your forum software to the next latest UBB.threads version when released, as you normally would. Congratulations. You're done for now.

Hi Guys,

I just updated to 8.0.0 and upgraded my database/PHP version as well.
Now bug fix 8.0.1 has been announced as released in the forum, but it's not listed in the member download area.
What now?

The UBB.threads 8.0.1 Patch is located in the Member downloads area in the Patch column - the column on the right side of the page.

Its a simple install. Just extract the zip archive's content over your current live forum. The version strings will be updated to 8.0.1 when you're done
