Hi I have upgraded to 8.0.1 and php 8.2.30 on my old server and it worked fine. Now after migrating to Almalinux 10 server I'm still on PHP 8.2.30 as there was some issues when using PHP 8.3.30. Have an issue now with attachment images When I choose an attachment and click on "Select A File To Attach" the box becomes white and then I click on the X to close it I have to open up attachment again and click on the thumbnail to place it in the text box but it the link lack the image name in the end. Do you have any idea of what could have caused it to happen? I have cmod all files according to the docs Still same issue with the blank white click box after clicking on the "Select A File To Attach" button.
Have also closed the forum for now not to cause any more corrupt attachment links.

Since I don't have a working attachment process is there an easy way to turn it off? At the moment we have 8 groups running it on 30 forums at least. Its tedious to change it in all these groups/forums

It happen when I click on test directory in admin > cp > paths then it can turn up Directory exists but is not writable. Test failed. Either the directory was not found or cannot be written to by the web server. and after I cmod the folder 777 it works again and say Directory exists and is writable.
Test passed. Still it don't work to attach images with posts

Is anything appearing in your error logs when the upload is starting? The CHMOD on the upload, gallery, and temp folders was going to be my first guess.

I have no clue where your host puts your logs, some have an error logs section of the control panel, others its /var/log/error_log or /var/log/httpd/error_log or stored in the folder which holds the script that would have errored out, and some have it combined with the access log data; you'd have to do some groundwork depending on your host's configuration/OS.
