We can't support hacks to the code or templates so anything related to changes to these types of files you'll want to visit UBBDev.com.

But is it allowed we post some snippets here about the changes we make to modify our forum. Maybe it's usefull to some of us. I posted a few modifications here, just to have it in a knowledge database.
Regards, Rob

can't see snippets as being an issues, as there are already many examples - however full blown mods/hacks should be posted at ubbdev. Either that or post as ubbdev, with a link here - best of both worlds

This thread died 13 years ago, the only active members from this original discussion still around is me... Officially, UBB threads does not support third party modifications to the base code (the code wasn't written to be in the official codebase, therefore its not supported); however, the development community at UBBDev has a huge listing of code modifications which has been around about as long as UBB.threads and UBB.Classic have been products. Where you will see some of the same faces as UBBCentral, UBBDev (like my other project, UBBWiki) is not owned by UBB Systems (who is the vendor of UBB.threads) and is instead owned by myself and help run by the current UBB development team (Isaac and myself).

Dave goto https://www.ubbdev.com/forums/ubbthreads.phpUbbdev is supported by the the same people but it is also a beta site for new releases. They just want a clear definitive line from stock code and modifications. The site here is to support only stock code even though they may break the rules slightly sometimes. It is strongly suggested to goto UBBDEV if you are looking to modify the base code of the software. Also some modifications at that site are a pay for item. You just need to pay attention to each mod and if it was incorporated into the latest release or not as well as if they are compatible with your version.
